By acquiring US company Advanced Compliance Solutions ACS Inc., TÜV SÜD has expanded its portfolio of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) measurement services. Founded in 2001 and with headquarters north of Atlanta (GA), ACS Inc. maintains five testing facilities in the south-east of the United States. The acquisition strengthens TÜV SÜD's presence in the North American market and enhances its efficiency in satisfying the increasing demand for EMC services.
Offering a broad range of services across many industries, ACS is the perfect complement for TÜV SÜD Product Service's existing EMC portfolio, and the ideal partner for broadening the range of services on offer to customers in North America. The testing facilities of ACS Inc. in Georgia, Florida and North Carolina hold numerous accreditations for a host of tests and certifications, including Energy Star®, EMC, R&TTE and RED directives as well as other product-safety and quality regulations.
